Founders Group Frequently Asked Questions
Our group meets in-person monthly near downtown San Jose, CA for a 90 minute meeting.
Our group is for innovators, founders, and bootstrapers who have started their own business, and are either getting ready to launch or have generated revenue. Revenue range is $0-40k in MRR (Monthly Recurring Revenue).
Beyond $40k/mo in MRR, you’ll want to apply to our Mastermind.
Our group is facilitated by serial entrepreneur Jeremy Shapiro who has been leading the Bay Area Mastermind for well over a decade.
Our Mastermind for established and scaling businesses is $697/mo. However, membership in our founders group is only an investment of $297/mo.
Yes! Many of our members share what their goals are – both for the business and themselves personally – and our group helps to create a plan and hold each other accountable to the plan with intentional focus.
Our members also discuss their investments – both in and outside of their business, their go to market strategies, finding and working with investors, why investors would invest in their company, their favorite tools, how they’re sourcing capital for their company, finance, defining their market, accountability, and so much more!
Our founders are from various industries but all share one passionate goal of launching and growing their new businesses. We don’t restrict group membership by industry and we work with founders building hardware businesses, SaaS platforms, mobile apps, tutoring companies, coaching businesses, sales organizations, and so much more.
Our Bay Area Mastermind is for established and scaling businesses typically grossing $1-10mm/year with an established team and sales channels. Our Mastermind meets for a full day of focus in person once a month where each member gets their own dedicated hot seat. Mastermind Members enjoy access to our Members Only vault of guest expert workshops as well as our Business Mastery training program.
Our Founders group, however, is for earlier stage businesses just getting started but not yet at $40k/mo in revenue. Our Founders group meets for 90 minutes in person once a month for networking, workshops, and a hot seat.
Membership in our Founder’s group includes much more than just our monthly meeting!
Membership gets you between-meeting access to other members and your facilitator / connector, access to recommended reading and resources, pre-meeting workshop prep, and group accountability.
